Vegetarian vampire.

My 17-year old cousin complained about my vampire picture. Like every teenage girl out there (and myself) she is very into Twilight at the moment and she thinks I should be a "good vampire" and they don't have red eyes, as any fan would know. Ok then. Your wish is my command.

I'm thirsty.

I'm going to a Halloween party next weekend (aren't we all) and am thinking about going as a vampire. (The fact that I'm reading Twilight at the moment might have something to do with my current vampire obsession, though I've always found them fascinating. And sexy.) I will not be going as a crazy looking vampire but a simple, cool one. I think I'm gonna get some vampire teeth and that's it, the rest will be kept quite simple. Now, it just happens to be Friday night and I'm bored so I thought I'd play around a bit with the vampire look and this is the result of my boredom (with the help of a little Gimp editing. I don't have any lenses or teeth yet). Personally, I think this look is enough to give me a role in the next Twilight movie. I'd bite Edward any day.

Riley.

I'm looking through some pics of celebs with make up done by Troy Jensen. Found a fantastic shot of Riley Keough. I adore her. I have to, seeing as I'm inlove with both her mother and her grand father. For those of you feeling a little lost, she's the daughter of Lisa-Marie Presley and, naturally, the grand daughter of the one and only - Elvis. With genes like that, how can she not be absolutely gorgeous? Look at her. She just radiates "Presley".

Plum.

I adore my new lip stick from Make Up Store, "Black Orchid".

Ultimate Beauty.

This has nothing to do with makeup.

All the more about beauty.

The world stopped in unison today to say goodbye to, in my opinion, the most beautiful person to ever walked this earth. Michael was absolute, pure beauty to me. Inside and out. I have always found him attractive. Ever since I was around 5 years old he has been the love of my life. I'm proud that he, out of hundreds of great artists, became my one. The greatest one of them all. I'm so thankful that he was the one that touched me. That found a way into my heart, never to leave again. He has never left my side since I found him. Since he found me. And I will never leave his. Never can say goodbye. Not to him. Never.

I have cried every day since the 25th of June. Today was hard. One of the hardest days. I cried through the entire ceremony, but the minute Paris talked... my heart was broken into a million little peaces and can not ever be repaired again. Those beautiful children of his... it kills me.

I was going to see him i London on August 28th. The day before his birthday. After waiting for this for 20 years I had 64 days left until my number one dream was going to come through. I always said my life would never be complete unless I got to see him live or meet him in person to give him a hug, at least once.

My life will now never be complete. I will miss him and mourn him forever. My life, and the world, is now a little less beautiful. A lot less.

I have lost the possibility of my biggest dream coming true.

I have lost the love of my life.

Michael,

I love you more.

Oh baby, just you shut your mouth.

Ever since I was a little girl I've loved David Bowies song China Girl. My mum had the video taped on VHS and I watched it a lot as a kid. I've always liked one of the last scenes when she smears out her lipstick and I just felt like doing a picture like that. So that kind of inspired this look and these following pictures.

Claudia.

This Saturday I was hired to work a little on Claudia. Her cousin is getting married next weekend and it was time for the henna party. She was wearing a black and golden satin dress so I gave her eyes a little gold shimmer. (These pics were taken before any mascara was added.)

Green 'n yellow.

I took this picture of Karmen Cass in an ad for Max Factor and used it as inspiration for the colourful after beach look below.

The master.

Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren? No, just the magic touch of Kevyn Aucoin on Winona Ryder and Gina Gershon.

Summer 2007. Working on Linda Z.

Malin.

Malin, my childhood friend, got married in July 2006 and I had the honor of doing her makeup (and the cooking! I made a buffé for 30 people or so. Talk about multi-tasking, I was working my ass off. So keep in mind - if there's a smaller party or wedding, I can be used for several purposes. I'm even a star when it comes to planning trips so if you need help with that, I'm your girl. Hm, maybe I should just become a full time wedding planner?)

This girl has flawless skin as it is, so she's a joy to work on. I used very little makeup. If I remember correctly this is how it was done:

I used som concealer under her eyes and a very small amount of powder, just to set it. Then I used Dallas (my favourite multiproduct) as a bronzer and blush all over her face, and used it as an eye shadow as well. I added the highlighter High Beam on her cheeks, brow bones and on the inner corners of her eyes and topped it all off with some dark brown eye shadow on the outer corners of her eyes. Her lips were kept natural.

She didn't even have mascara on, since she had her eyelashes lengthened and coloured in a salon before the wedding. A very good idea may I add, since tears aren't that unusal at these things.

Brown with silver on top.

Terese.

Working on Terese for a 25th birthday party she was attending earlier this year. Terese is a bit of a tomboy and would the first to admit that she's clueless when it comes to makeup. She is however gorgeous. What I love about pretty tomboys who basically never wears more than maybe a little mascara is that as soon as you start working on them you see a huge difference. I mean, put a little blush on their cheeks and everyone goes "wow" cause they've never seen them that beautiful before. On someone like me though, who has been experimenting with makeup since 5th grade, it doesn't have the same effect. I'm used to wearing a lot more makeup on a daily basis so I need a lot more added for me to see any difference, you know what I mean?

Tinkerbell.

Earlier this year I did makeup for my cousin Linda who was going to a costume party as Tinkerbell. She looked adorable. No one can pull of Tinkerbell like she can, she is Tinkerbell. This picture doesn't do the makeup (which looked fab) justice though but once again, it will have to do.

Benefit Cosmetics.

One of my favorite make up brands is Benefit Cosmetics. Not only do they have some fantabulous products, such as Benetint and High Beam, I just love love love the cute and clever names of the products, and the colourful packaging etc (although I'm also a big fan of clean, simple looking products of the likes of Makeup Store and FACE Stockholm. I am after all a Swede).

Oh, and the Box-o-Powders! I'm a collector of those and I so far I have Dandelion, Georgia, Hoola and - my favourite powder of all times, all brands - Dallas. This is a perfect mix of a brown bronzer and a pink blush, with kind of like a dusty rose colour. I use it on my cheeks, my chin, my temples, along my hairline on my forehead, on the bridge of my nose and as an eye shadow. It gives you that perfect I'm-a-country-gal-who-stayed-out-in-the-fields-in-the-sun-just-a-little-too-long kind of look. Love it. My next have-to-have I believe is to be CORALista. I think I'll be getting that one when I go back to London in August. (No, we are not fortunate enough to have Benefit Cosmetics in Sweden.)

Oh, and don't forget to try the best of the best body creams; "Touch me then try to leave"... Cream. The box is lovely, the scent is lovely, the name is lovely, and it is in fact the only body lotion I've tried where the scents stays on you for an entire day and night, even until the next morning! The scent even sets in you clothes and your bed linens. Get it!

Pretty in Pink.

Pink eye shadow, pink rouge, pink lips and lots of black lashes (with a little help from fake ones.) This was my look for my 24th birthday in 2007.

Tropical Smoothie.

These pictures have a real shitty quality but it'll have to do.

Raspberry licorice.

Just had a little fun with a black pen and hot pink lipgloss.
