This was over a year ago, but thought I share some pics from my best friend's henna party, when I did her makeup.
Flapper girl.
Got home. Got bored. Got flappered. I just smeared on some longer eyebrows, some dark eye shadow and lipstick on the makeup I already had on for work, and I didn't do it carefully at all so there's room for improvement. (I'm considering doing "20's flapper girl" for Halloween, since I already have all I need at home for this look.)Jenny.
In September 2010, my cousin Jenny and her Erik got married in the beautiful town of Verona in Italy and I had the honor of doing Jenny's makeup.I absolutely fell inlove with the place. The town was amazing. Old, worn but in a charming way and never dirty. The wedding was amazing. The whole weekend was amazing. Romantic. But then again, you can't go wrong in the city of Romeo and Juliet. In fact, the actual ceremony took place in Juliet's house. How's that for romance? The wedding even ended up in the local paper!

Naked Beauty Summer 2010.

I absolutely adore Smashbox's new summer collection Naked Beauty. The add looks amazing, not to mention the girl. To "get the look", click here.
Marilyn.
Linda and I attended a costume party a week or two ago. I was Axl Rose (no makeup). She was Marilyn Monroe.

Vegetarian vampire.
My 17-year old cousin complained about my vampire picture. Like every teenage girl out there (and myself) she is very into Twilight at the moment and she thinks I should be a "good vampire" and they don't have red eyes, as any fan would know. Ok then. Your wish is my command.

I'm thirsty.
I'm going to a Halloween party next weekend (aren't we all) and am thinking about going as a vampire. (The fact that I'm reading Twilight at the moment might have something to do with my current vampire obsession, though I've always found them fascinating. And sexy.) I will not be going as a crazy looking vampire but a simple, cool one. I think I'm gonna get some vampire teeth and that's it, the rest will be kept quite simple. Now, it just happens to be Friday night and I'm bored so I thought I'd play around a bit with the vampire look and this is the result of my boredom (with the help of a little Gimp editing. I don't have any lenses or teeth yet). Personally, I think this look is enough to give me a role in the next Twilight movie. I'd bite Edward any day.

Riley.

I'm looking through some pics of celebs with make up done by Troy Jensen. Found a fantastic shot of Riley Keough. I adore her. I have to, seeing as I'm inlove with both her mother and her grand father. For those of you feeling a little lost, she's the daughter of Lisa-Marie Presley and, naturally, the grand daughter of the one and only - Elvis. With genes like that, how can she not be absolutely gorgeous? Look at her. She just radiates "Presley".
